Honestly, Arand at Atlanta Homes, I write everything on this website myself. I’ve been a journalist for more than 30 years, including a reporter for ABC News and CBS News in New York City, and my articles have appeared in publications including The New York Times, Redbook and Travel & Leisure, and I’ve written or edited more than 30 travel guidebooks, and just wrote my first iPhone, iTunes, iTouch app, NYC Free and Frugal. So, absolutely, I research and write all of this content.

Thank you for asking, and I hope you become a regular visitor. You can subscribe by email or RSS feed — the links are at the top of the page.

  • Really creative blog here! Did you think of all of this content yourself or did you have some help? be honest..

  • I was just there! There’s a cheap hotel called Hotel Acacia, 40-60 euros a night. There’s also Hotel Plant in the red light district which is about the same. I recommend that one to Acacia because it’s right in the red light district where you want to be. HOtel Acacia is about 15 min with a bus. Rent bikes there and go to a place called the Grasshopper. Best club/lounge/bar thing. It’s lit up in green at night so it’s very very hard to miss it. There’s also a hash museum and a sex museum you must check out. Don’t forget the "coffee shops" Also for another hotel…well, it’s more of a hostel, it’s called The Hostel. Right in the red light district about 30 euros a night. Hopefully this helped!!

  • I just added to favorites the post. Nice news.

  • I have been in Bacuti and Tara Beach Resorts last summer and I was amazed of its own modern unique style of accommodation. Really one of the best hotels I’d visited since I start travelling around the world for my business. Very Eco-Friendly Resort and great customer service. Thanks for having this article. I love your post and I can really relate on it. Thanks.
