Baltimore Gets its First LEED Certified Green Hotel

Other family-friendly must-see spots in Baltimore are The USS Constellation Museum, the Reginald F. Lewis Museum of Maryland African American History & Culture.   And, of course, one of Baltimore’s famous seafood restaurants, for Maryland crab and other delights.

And sports lovers will appreciate Camden Yards and Babe Ruth Birthplace Museum, filled with memorabilia of the life of the legendary New York Yankee slugger.

The hotel is within a block of the Jones Falls bike trail, which extends 12 miles north to Robert E. Lee Park and Lake Roland and rounds the Inner Harbor to connect to the Gwynn’s Falls Trail.   The hotel has bicycles available for guest use – another eco-friendly way to travel green.

Here’s a big eco-travel kiss to Baltimore’s first LEED certified green hotel.
