Follow the Footsteps of Robin Hood in Nottingham, Sherwood Forest

Fly to jolly old England on American Airlines between May 13 and June 30, 2010, and you can earn up to 10,000 AAdvantage bonus miles.  It’s for the new daily route between New York City’s JFK airport and Manchester

Robin Hood probably did not spend a lot of time in London, but no trip to Britain is really complete without a visit, especially in June, when the annual Taste of London outdoor food festival takes place in Regent Park.  Sample dishes from the city’s top chefs and restaurants, including Le Gavroche and Rhodes Twenty Four, plus visiting culinary giants Giorgio Locatelli and Tom Aikens. Standard entry tickets cost $33.

Thanks for your kind comment MOT. Hope you become a regular visitor. On my last trip to the north country of England, I visited — and loved — Liverpool, Manchester, York, and the Bentley factory in Crewe. So it’s time for me to return, and visit Nottingham.
